Dryland Training is a waste of time
There, I said it.
Now we can build from the ashes.
Once upon a time "dryland" training for teams was actually o.k.
Sure it was archaic, but at least it was hard and it didn't try to be anything it wasn't.
Then somewhere along the way it morphed into something else.
Dryland training became Dryland!TM
And like many bubbles, It's increased popularity ultimately led to the zombie we witness today
You see, sometimes success breeds overconfidence and overconfidence can breed laziness.
This is what happened to dryland training for teams.
The market became inundated with teams in search of Dryland!TM....
...and eventually Dryland!TM just became something that your team 'had to do', and not something that made you better.
And so the decay set in.
Now I hear many athletes refer to Dryland!TM training 'as a joke'.
In my experience when athletes across many different sports in a variety of age groups all refer to something 'as a joke' it means that it is truly dead.
So let us bury Dryland!TM
In its place we will build something better.
We call it Performance Training.
And Performance Training is about getting better
Every. Single. Session.
A cynical person may ask "what's the difference"
Our answer: everything.
You see, becoming a champion starts in your mind.
It has nothing to do with fancy equipment, cool workout shirts, or reaction training with lights...
....although our teams have all three.
Performance Training starts with getting your team into the mindset of becoming a champion.
The mindset of a champion sets the foundation for all future success.
We believe that a person has two choices in this life.
We can choose mediocrity.
Or we can choose excellence.
Our goal with Performance Training is to create a culture where excellence is expected and demanded.
In this way we will build slowly but surely a championship mindset.
If this sounds interesting to you and you have a team, drop us a line.
Dedicated to your athletes success
